Polyurethane cables, abbreviated as PUR cable, are halogen-free, flame resistant and offer increased mechanical and chemical resistance, making the cables suitable for harsh environments.

Our underwater serials cables use polyurethane as sheathing material of good performance and also maintain the cable’s flexibility to fit various underwater applications requiring frequent or constant flexing.

This cable is gel filled cable, which is added to a braid shield or extruded on top of a foil shield. Because it is a gel, it tends to flow and fill in any gaps or openings that appear. So it’s the ultimate in waterblocking, and in long-time protection of cable underwater.
